There is a good chance that you will have come across one of my best-selling books Scrum Mastery, Product Mastery, Team Mastery or The Coach’s Casebook. The fact that these have inspired so many people and are recommended widely is a huge source of pride for me and is the basis for my work with people.
I have crafted training and development pathways for each role within an agile organisation to help them embed the necessary skills and I support people’s ongoing growth through 1-2-1 and team coaching.
Having started using Scrum at British Telecom, one of the first large-scale agile adoptions, I have since coached organisations large and small through their agile journeys. I am at the cutting edge of developments in the agile world and can regularly be found speaking at both international conferences and local user groups as well as TEDx events.
As well as my wealth of knowledge in the agile field, I am also passionate about promoting servant-leadership through my coaching practice. I am a hugely experienced and qualified coach and passionate about promoting self-development
Robin looks to put the ‘fun’ into addressing and removing ‘dys-fun-ctions’ through the use of creative tools, techniques and analogies. He is now taking this a step further by delivering Scrum Master training with LEGO as a medium for learning, helping to create the building blocks of skills and knowledge in those that attend his courses.
Robin began his Agile journey as a Product Owner in 2011 with zero knowledge of Agile or Scrum. This role proved to be pivotal in his career, setting him off in a new direction. After experiencing a new approach to getting work ‘done’, he did not look back embracing a new way of working. Now he wants to help and guide you on your journey.
Robin is an experienced Agile Coach and Scrum Master. He has worked with a variety of organisations across multiple sectors helping them to visualise current processes and practices, identify areas for continuous improvement and deliver agile training, which has led to him delivering Scrum Master training with LEGO.
Robin is passionate about supporting individuals, teams and organisations on their Agile journey and is now supporting the growth of Scrum Masters through the Scrum Mastery Pathway. But that’s not the only Agile training that Robin offers, he also supports the development of Product Owners through the Product Mastery Pathway.
Robin is the CEO of Enigma Consulting and Solutions
What is the Product Mastery Pathway™?
This is no ordinary training course. The Product Mastery Pathway™ provides a comprehensive development pathway for Product Owners delivered through three elements – Explorer, Navigator and Adventurer.
Delegates begin by ‘exploring’ all the major skills and facets of great Product Owners during two days of training. They are then provided access to a dedicated group chat and will attend five monthly group sessions lasting 3-hours each as they ‘navigate‘ the challenges of applying these skills in their day-to-day working life. After six months delegates will return for deeper skills transfer to set them up for their future, ongoing ‘adventures’ as a great Product Owner.
Important Note
This program DOES NOT cover an introduction to the Scrum framework or the role of the Product Owner. A working knowledge of Scrum and the Product Owner role is required to attend this class. If you need an Introduction to Scrum or the role of the Product Owner, why not start with one of our other training courses – an Introduction to Agile & Scrum, or, The Role of the Product Owner.
So how does it all work?
Workshop One (Explorer) – 2 days
In the first workshop you will meet your fellow learning cohort and ‘explore’ every aspect of what it takes to be a great Product Owner. You will work through every aspect of Geoff Watts DRIVEN model and develop your skills to become more:
Supported Deliberate Practice (Navigator) – 6 months
After the first workshop you will return to your team(s) and begin to apply what you have learned, however, you will not be alone. You will support and be supported by your learning cohort. Through five monthly group supervision sessions and your own unique commitments to one another, you will ‘navigate’ the specific challenges you face day to day.
Workshop Two (Adventurer) – 2 days
After six months of hands-on practice and group supervision you will return for another two-day workshop. Here you will be provided with more, and deeper, theory and guided practice to prepare you for your future ‘adventures’ as a great Product Owner. Once again you will cover every aspect of Geoff’s DRIVEN model.
Lifetime Ticket(s)
After leaving the course, not only will you have developed great habits and a supportive network of other Product Owners but you will also receive:-
“When I went to a Scrum Alliance class I got some actions to take away and was inspired to make a change. That energy lasted a few weeks and then I tried to remember the other things I learned that weren’t quite as important straight away but it was hazy. Having a continued focus over a longer time period with coaching, supervision and tailored modules plus access to the videos of the course makes a huge difference.” – Iain M
“Robin is an excellent trainer and coach. His knowledge and expertise is un-matched but what sets him apart is the respect and compassion with which he works with others. It feels great to work with someone who can empathise with us and empower us with knowledge that helps us excel in our role as SM. Plus, there’s never a session with Robin where you wouldn’t learn something new and fun!” – Pragya N
“Robin is an empathetic trainer with tonnes of experience and knowledge. Through his creative, enthusiastic, and down to earth approach, Robin has helped me to better understand complex problems, and enabled me to succeed in my role as a Scrum Master” – Lukasz M

Who is Martin Lambert?
Martin is a Scrum Master mentor who has been involved with Scrum since 2010 and has worked closely with over 50 teams as Scrum Master or Agile Coach in the Digital domain.
Martin loves spinning up a new team and guiding them in their use of Scrum, Kanban and general agile thinking. He also takes on the role of agile coach – where he focuses on helping the organisation’s leaders make the changes needed to free their peoples’ potential.
Martin chose to use the Scrum Mastery Pathway as a vehicle for his Scrum Master mentoring because of his belief in the importance of helping Scrum Masters reach their potential, enjoy their job, and be the change agent the role originally envisaged.
“I know the importance of real-world experience,” he says. “This is why you will still see me working hands on in a team. You’ve never seen it all, and those essential attributes of being respected, empowering and adaptable need to be continuously worked. I can’t teach it with integrity, if I’m not living it. “
This recency of practice means Martin has a genuine appreciation of the scenarios faced by the Scrum Masters he mentors, and the Navigator sessions in particular are well grounded in real world experience.
You can find Martin, along with his instinctive pragmatism, straight talk, honest answers and frank reflections, in South Lakeland, Cumbria.
Join him on the Scrum Mastery Pathway in the North of England, or from anywhere remotely.
Who is James Farley?
As an Agile Consultant, I serve teams and organisations as Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Agile Coach (albeit that I will forevermore avoid holding SM and PO acountabilities for the same team).
I am also a licensed ProKanban trainer, as well as being a guide for AMI’s Scrum and Product Mastery Pathways, and will always be on a relentlessly journey to continuously improve myself. (I even have a Kanban board, complete with WIP limits, to manage focus my personal development.) Currently, my CPD focus is on deepening coaching skills (progressing through ICAgile’s Expert Agile Coach learning track & practicing more with Clean Language), and also experimenting with Flight Levels in organisations.
With plenty of ‘ups’ (eg. rare life experiences in an elite military team) and ‘downs’ (eg, legal battles with a customer, essentially due to business change shortfall), my career path has shaped me into someone who is deeply committed to assisting others in their professional journeys.
