  • The opportunity to engage in ten further fortnightly follow-up sessions with our cohort provided a valuable forum to discuss the real-life experiences and challenges of fulfilling the Scum Master role, far beyond what can be covered in a few days of intensive training. I welcomed the advice and guidance of our facilitator and guide Robin, and the willingness of the group to dig-into their Sprint-to-Sprint experiences.

They are then provided access to a dedicated group chat and will receive three months of coaching as they ‘navigate‘ the challenges of applying these skills in their day-to-day working life. After three months delegates will return for deeper skills transfer to set them up for their future, ongoing ‘adventures’ as a great Product Owner before receiving more coaching to help further embed the learning.

      • I took Geoff’s CSM class years ago and wanted to really develop my Scrum Master skills so decided to take his new long-term approach of training and coaching over the course of a year. There was so much learning in there and the fact that it was spaced out over time and solidified with reflection meant I not only learned about being a great Scrum Master but also a great leader and even a better human being.

      • I have been working with Geoff over the last year to develop my skills as a Product Leader and found the long-term, supported approach so much more valuable than any one-off course I have taken. One unexpected benefit of this approach was that it forced me to take the time to sit down and outline the thought process and logic behind my actions. Previously I would have just got on with the job, and not give a second thought about why I was taking such an approach. This newfound awareness played a major part in landing my new role, as I would have not been able to articulate my motivation and goals so clearly beforehand.
